KUALA LUMPUR – Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli has invited everyone in the nation to tune into his debate session with Bachok MP Mohd Syahir Che Sulaiman this Wednesday evening.

Titled ‘Model Baharu Ekonomi Malaysia’, the debate between the PKR deputy president and the PAS assistant secretary-general aims to discuss efficacious strategies for the nation’s economic growth.

“God willing, the people will be able to objectively evaluate and observe the plans and direction of the economy, which will be presented and debated,” Rafizi said in a Facebook post.

The event will be aired live at 9.30pm on RTM and Astro Awani channels. It will also be available online via RTM Klik and Astro GO.

Last week, Syahir accepted Rafizi’s invitation for an economic debate, after receiving the green light from the PAS leadership.

This came after Perikatan Nasional information chief Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and caretaker Kedah MB Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor declined Rafizi’s invitation. – August 7, 2023
