KUALA LUMPUR – Penyanyi nombor satu negara, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza tidak dapat menahan sebak melihat pelajar di Sekolah Afwa & Aafiyah di Gaza, Palestin menyambut Maulidur Rasul. 

Menerusi perkongsian di Instagram, Siti memuat naik video pelajar berkenaan yang sedang meraikan sambutan itu.

“Alhamdulillah. Menitis air mata saya kerana tersentuh dan gembira dengan perkembangan anak-anak di Sekolah Afwa & Aafiyah di Gaza.

“Mereka meraikan sambutan kelahiran Rasulullah SAW. Berselawat dan doa selamat turut dibacakan juga. 

“Terima kasih kepada sahabat baik dan juga pengetua, Dr Mohanad. Doa saya semoga Allah SWT sentiasa memelihara Sekolah Afwa & Aafiyah ini dari sebarang perkara tidak diingini serta dapat melahirkan anak-anak yang soleh, soleha serta berjaya di dunia dan akhirat,” tulisnya. 

Sekolah Afwa Al-Afiyah ditubuhkan oleh Siti menerusi Yayasan Nurjiwa dan mula beroperasi sejak Oktober 2021. – 28 September 2023
