KUALA LUMPUR – The federal government has unveiled a substantial budget allocation of RM19 billion for the Home Ministry in the upcoming year, signifying an increase of RM500 million compared to the current fiscal year.

In his address during the presentation of Budget 2024 in the Dewan Rakyat, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stressed the heightened importance of national security, given the prevailing challenges related to race, religion, and royalty.

He expressed concern about the manipulation of these issues to incite the populace.
