KUALA LUMPUR – Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim mengesahkan rombakan Kabinet dijangka diadakan bulan ini.

Beliau berkata demikian ketika menjawab pertanyaan seorang jemaah kanak-kanak, Akmal Afif Yaseer Arafat, 12, selepas menunaikan solat Jumaat di Surau Putra Al-Amin, Fasa 4C, Presint 8 di Putrajaya, hari ini.

Terdahulu, Anwar tiba di surau berkenaan pada pukul 12.55 tengah hari bagi menunaikan solat Jumaat bersama kira-kira 2,000 jemaah dan makan tengah hari.

Seusai makan tengah hari, Anwar didatangi sekumpulan jemaah kanak-kanak bagi mendapatkan tandatangan dan bergambar bersama beliau di hadapan surau tersebut.

Ketika menyantuni kumpulan terbabit, Anwar sempat bertanyakan kepada Akmal sama ada dia mempunyai soalan kepadanya.

Akmal: Datuk Seri, bila rombakan Kabinet?
Anwar: Nama apa?
Akmal: Nama saya Akmal Afif.
Anwar: Akmal cadang bila? Sebelum ke selepas 2024?
Akmal: Sebelum 2024.
Anwar: Dia jawab sebelum 2024. Saya setuju.

Awal bulan lalu, Perdana Menteri dalam satu majlis memaklumkan beliau belum mempunyai sebarang keputusan berhubung rombakan Kabinet Kerajaan Perpaduan seperti yang diperkatakan sesetengah pihak. – 1 Disember, 2023
