ABM coaching director Rexy Mainaky says misunderstanding between the two now buried

12:45 PM MYT

KUALA LUMPUR – Badminton fans rejoice as the tiff between national women’s doubles pair Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah seems to have been resolved.

Akademi Badminton Malaysia coaching director Rexy Mainaky revealed this in an Instagram post.

In the post, Pearly and Thinaah are both smiling while shaking hands, proving that any misunderstanding between the two is now buried.

This is a good sign for Malaysia, as the pair will play in the Malaysia Open in January.

“The two of them with the big smile will fight for Malaysian Open 2024.

“Together, they will be stronger, and they need each other to reach their dream in 2024,” read the caption in the post.

The pair was dumped out in the first round of the China Masters last month.

During the match, the pair seemed to have had a communication breakdown that led fans to speculate that their relationship off the court was fractured. – December 6, 2023
