Search for missing 14-year-old Daniel continues as cops launch probe

KUALA LUMPUR – Muhammad Daniel Akmal Zulkhairi, the 14-year-old student who went missing yesterday, has yet to be found, prompting an ongoing police investigation.

Cheras district police chief Zam Halim Jamaluddin, when contacted by Scoop, said that efforts to locate the teenager are being intensified. 

Daniel was last seen around 12.30am yesterday in the vicinity of SM Sains Alam Shah along Jalan Yaacob Latif in Cheras.

Asked about the various possibilities surrounding the student’s disappearance, Jamaluddin said the matter was “(still) under investigation.”

Earlier, police said they received a report of the missing student at 1.21pm today.
