KUALA LUMPUR – A leaking swimming pool is believed to have caused a landslip at Jalan Taman Pantai, Bangsar here.

Currently, the Fire and Rescue Department is draining the pool to prevent further erosion in the affected area.

So far, no injuries have been recorded and the house structure is not affected.

The operations centre here received an emergency call at 10.45am today, prompting the authorities to deploy a total of 17 personnel and support machinery from the Seputeh station.

Upon inspection, it was found the landslip was likely caused by a leak from the swimming pool, which also affected the pool and house right below.
