Body of Malaysian man found in a ditch by the Duke Expressway this morning

Victim’s belongings were found on the scene; case has been classified as sudden death

KUALA LUMPUR – A body was found lying face down in a ditch at Sentul-bound KM5.1 of the Duta Ulu-Kelang (Duke) Expressway today.

The victim was a 34-year-old Malaysian man with injuries to his legs and body, said Gombak acting police chief Abang Kader Abang Wasli.

“The victim’s belongings, such as helmet, trousers, mobile phone, and wallet were found at the scene. The body was then sent to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post-mortem.

“An emergency call was placed at 11.08am today, informing the police that a fully clothed body was found,” he said in a statement.

The case has been classified as sudden death.
