KUALA LUMPUR – The 12-year-old girl, Siti Dhia Batrisyia Mohd Chairil Anuar, who had been missing since last Tuesday, was found safe.

This was shared by her mother, Syarifah Rosfazila Syed Muhammad Fazili, 41, via a Facebook post early this morning.

“Allahuakbar, God is great. With all the prayers and help from everyone, my daughter has been found safely,” she said.

In the post, Syarifah said that Dhia was found walking alone at 2.28am today.

She also expressed gratitude to all Malaysians and everyone involved in finding her eldest child.

“With humility, our family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone. Only God can truly repay all that has been done. Amen.

“I also extend my thanks to the D9 team of the Dang Wang police headquarters, who tirelessly searched for my daughter. Well done, Royal Malaysia Police,” she said.

Syarifah later told Scoop that Dhia was found while walking alone in the Sri Rampai area.

Dhia failed to return home following a reported disagreement with her mother.

When contacted by Scoop, Syarifah said that the last time she was with her eldest daughter was at their home at around 4pm that day.

Syarifah said they had a disagreement after she received a WhatsApp message from Dhia’s school teacher informing her that her daughter was absent from school. – March 17, 2024
