KUALA LUMPUR – A moderate earthquake, measuring 5.1 in magnitude, struck Mindanao, the Philippines, at 11.34am today.

In a Facebook post, METMalaysia reported that the epicentre of the earthquake was located at 7.5° north and 126.2° east, with a depth of 63km.

The earthquake struck approximately 60-km east of Panabo, the Philippines, it added.
