KUALA LUMPUR – Commuters on the Kelana Jaya LRT line had to suffer delays today due to a small fire on the Kelana Jaya Station tracks.

RapidKL announced service disruptions at 2.02pm in a post on X, informing commuters of turn backs and alternative shuttle train services.

Trains from Putra Heights had to turn back at the Ara Damansara Station, and commuters heading onward had to switch to a shuttle train to Kelana Jaya.

In the other direction, trains from Gombak had to turn back at the Kelana Jaya Station.

At 3.30pm, RapidKL announced that the fire on the Kelana Jaya Station tracks had been extinguished.

“Alternative train services have been terminated. Train frequency is currently being regulated and will return to normal intervals shortly,” it said. – July 26, 2024
