KUALA LUMPUR – Menteri Komunikasi Fahmi Fadzil menyifatkan Ahli Parlimen Machang Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal sebagai ‘ketagih perhatian’ apabila mencabar beliau dan Menteri Ekonomi Rafizi Ramli berdebat mengenai isu penjualan saham Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd kepada BlackRock Inc.

Beliau berkata Wan Ahmad Fayhsal sepatutnya lebih arif mengenai peraturan jika ingin berdebat tentang sesuatu isu.

“Dia adalah seorang yang ketagih perhatian dan dia kalau nak debat sepatutnya janganlah bawa surat layang ke Parlimen… dia sepatutnya datang ke Parlimen dan berbahas mengikut peraturan tapi saya nampak dia sekarang tersakiti.

“Lagipun saya rasa dia seorang yang ketagih perhatian dan nakkan orang ramai melihat dirinya,” kata Fahmi kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan program Jejak Panda oleh foodpanda Malaysia di Pantai Dalam di sini hari ini.

Sebelum ini, Wan Ahmad Fayhsal menyatakan kesediaan untuk berdebat dengan Fahmi dan Rafizi di pentas neutral bagi menjawab persoalan berkaitan isu penggantungan beliau selama enam bulan daripada menghadiri sidang Dewan Rakyat pada Julai lepas.

Rafizi, menerusi hantaran di laman X baru- baru ini, telah mengajak Wan Ahmad Fayhsal berdebat mengenai topik ‘kesan merancakkan ekonomi dengan mencetak wang’ di platform podcast. – 13 Ogos, 2024
