KOTA BHARU – Enam rakyat Malaysia termasuk seorang penyanyi wanita dari Kelantan yang ditahan polis Thailand semalam bersama 6,000 biji pil kuda didapati positif dadah jenis methamphetamine.

Menurut sumber polis Thailand, kesemua suspek yang ditahan di lokap Balai Polis Sungai Golok akan dibawa ke Mahkamah Wilayah Narathiwat untuk direman, esok.

“Kesemua suspek berusia antara 25 hingga 34 tahun itu akan dibawa keluar dari lokap Balai Polis Sungai Golok pagi esok untuk dihantar ke Mahkamah Narathiwat,” katanya ketika dihubungi hari ini.

Semalam, Ketua Polis Kelantan Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat mengesahkan enam rakyat Malaysia termasuk seorang artis tempatan dari Kelantan ditahan dalam serbuan yang dijalankan oleh polis Thailand di sebuah hotel dekat pekan Sungai Golok, pada 6 pagi, Jumaat.

Hasil pemeriksaan di dalam bilik terbabit telah menemukan kira-kira 6,000 biji pil kuda dan kesemua suspek dibawa ke Balai Polis Sungai Golok untuk tindakan lanjut.

Dilaporkan dua daripada suspek yang ditahan, dipercayai memasuki Thailand menggunakan pangkalan haram Gergaji dekat Rantau Panjang, Pasir Mas, manakala empat lagi menggunakan laluan di Kompleks Imigresen, Kastam, Kuarantin dan Keselamatan (ICQS) Rantau Panjang. – 3 November, 2024
