Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh hopes digital payment method will improve access, transparency across KBS centres nationwide

KUALA LUMPUR — Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh has introduced JomPAY as a new online payment method for facility bookings under the Youth and Sports Ministry, as part of ongoing efforts to modernise and digitise public services.

In a statement, the ministry described the move as “a step by the government towards the digitisation and modernisation of public services, making them more efficient, transparent, and user-friendly”.

Through improvements to the ministry’s facility booking system (STF), members of the public no longer need to visit counters in person to make payments.

Instead, users can pay online for bookings at facilities under the National Youth and Sports Department (JBSN) — including Youth and Sports Complexes (Kombes), Rakan Muda Complexes (KRM), Community Sports Complexes (KSK), and Sports Complexes (KS).

The ministry added that the initiative aligns with the core values of innovation and public well-being within the Malaysia Madani framework, by introducing digital solutions that “make things easier for the public, improve service quality, and increase transparency in government revenue collection”.

To use JomPAY, users must ensure that the biller code selected matches the specific facility being booked.

The ministry expressed hope that this added convenience will encourage greater use of JBSN facilities nationwide, in line with the government’s aspiration to bring sports closer to the community.

“KBS extends its thanks to all parties involved in making the JomPAY project a success and is confident this initiative will bring significant benefits to all levels of society,” the statement read.

Further information about bookings and available facilities can be accessed via the official STF website: https://stf.kbs.gov.my/ks_user/login.php. — April 21, 2025
