KUALA LUMPUR – Gerakan Himpunan Selamatkan Malaysia berjalan secara aman dengan para peserta kini sedang berarak menuju ke Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Dang Wangi.

Dianggarkan kira-kira 700 orang sudah mula bergerak dari Masjid Jamek Kampung Baru menuju ke Kompleks Beli Belah Sogo, sebelum ke IPD untuk membuat laporan polis.

Mereka yang berpakaian serba putih dengan membawa sepanduk dan plakad
‘Dakwa Zahid Selamatkan Malaysia’ mahu Kerajaan Perpaduan meneliti semula keputusan membebas tanpa melepaskan Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi terhadap 47 pertuduhan membabitkan Yayasan Akal Budi.

Antara pemimpin tertinggi yang hadir pada himpunan berkenaan adalah Ketua Penerangan Bersatu, Datuk Razali Idris dan Sekretariat Himpunan Selamatkan Malaysia, Badrul Hisham Shaharin serta bekas Timbalan Ketua UMNO Putrajaya, Datuk Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz.

Sepanjang pergerakan itu, mereka melaungkan Takbir dan dijangka tiba di IPD Dang Wangi pada 4 petang.

Sementara itu, polis memberikan kerjasama dan turut mengawal lalu lintas. – 16 September, 2023
