KUALA LUMPUR – Teka-teki status Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (Adun) Nenggiri, Mohd Azizi Abu Naim akhirnya terungkai apabila kerusi tersebut diisytiharkan berlaku kekosongan luar jangka berkuatkuasa hari ini.

Perkara tersebut diumumkan Speaker Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Kelantan, Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah pada sidang media di Kota Bharu, hari ini.

Beliau berkata, keputusan itu dibuat selepas DUN Kelantan menerima notis bertulis di bawah fasal (3) Perkara 31A Undang-Undang Tubuh daripada Adun Nenggiri, Mohd Azizi Abu Naim pada 13 Jun dan Bersatu pada 12 Jun yang memaklumkan hilang keahlian Bersatu dan seterusnya berlaku kekosongan luar jangka kerusi berkenaan.

“Maka dengan ini saya mengisytihar menurut Fasal 1 Perkara 31A bahawa berlaku kekosongan luar jangka kerusi DUN Nenggiri diwakili Mohd Azizi.

“Maka dengan ini menurut Fasal 4(4) Perkara 31A, kekosongan kerusi perlu diisi dalam tempoh 60 hari dari tarikh Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya (SPR) menerima notis kekosongan,” katanya.

Pengumuman tersebut sekali gus merungkai perkembangan isu kerusi DUN berkenaan selepas Mohd Azizi, Adun Bersatu yang juga Ahli Parlimen Gua Musang sebelum ini mengikrar sokongan kepada Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Mohd Amar sebelum ini memaklumkan pihaknya masih menunggu surat rasmi daripada Bersatu berhubung status Adun Nenggiri itu. – 19 Jun, 2024
