KOTA BHARU – Polis Kelantan hari ini menyerbu tiga buah rumah yang dipercayai menjadi penempatan keluarga ketua pegawai eksekutif GISB Holdings (GISBH) di Kampung Panji, di sini.

Serbuan dilakukan sepasukan polis daripada Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Kelantan bersama Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Negeri Kelantan itu, bermula pada 6.30 pagi tadi dan berakhir kira-kira 9 pagi.

Wartawan Bernama yang turut menyertai operasi terbabit mendapati kira-kira 30 penghuni termasuk isteri kedua dan lebih 20 kanak-kanak mendiami tiga kediaman itu.

Polis turut merampas pelbagai jenis buku dan dokumen berkaitan GISBH yang ditanam di tepi pinggir sungai, selain ada yang turut dibakar.

Bernama difahamkan rumah berkenaan menjadi tempat menginap ahli GISBH sejak puluhan tahun, dengan penghuni yang bertukar ganti.

Sementara itu, Ketua Polis Negara Tan Sri Razarudin Husain ketika dihubungi memaklumkan operasi hari ini diadakan secara besar-besaran di beberapa negeri termasuk Kelantan.
