KUALA LUMPUR – Pesara kerajaan yang berusia 65 tahun ke atas boleh terus mendapatkan rawatan di Institut Jantung Negara (IJN).

Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim berkata, IJN menjadi isu kontroversi kerana pesara kerajaan yang telah berubat di situ diminta ke hospital lain.

“Kita setuju supaya berikan kesempatan kepada pesakit yang sudah ke IJN, terutama umur 65 ke atas untuk teruskan rawatan kerajaan,’’ katanya ketika membentangkan Bajet 2025 di Parlimen, hari ini.

Anwar turut memberitahu, kerajaan meningkatkan jalinan kerjasama dengan 91 hospital swasta bagi menyumber luar pesakit Kementerian Kesihatan (KKM) melibatkan perkhidmatan seperti kardiologi, radiologi dan nefrologi.

Pendekatan ini, katanya, secara tidak langsung mewujudkan elemen persaingan mendapatkan harga terbaik buat kerajaan.
