KUALA LUMPUR – Komposer terkenal, Datuk S. Atan atau nama sebenarnya Hashim Said, meninggal dunia petang ini, pada usia 75 tahun.

Allahyarham menghembuskan nafas terakhir di rumahnya di Kajang pada jam 3.23 petang ini, lapor Astro Awani.

S. Atan, sebelum ini pernah dimasukkan ke sebuah pusat perubatan akibat jangkitan kuman pada paru-paru.

Malah pada 2006, S Atan pernah dirawat di hospital akibat penyakit angin ahmar.

Beliau yang sudah lebih empat dekad terbabit dalam bidang muzik, menghasilkan lebih 1,000 lagu.

Sepanjang karier seninya, Allahyarham pernah menghasilkan lagu kepada penyanyi-penyanyi popular tanah air iaitu Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Allahyarham Tan Sri SM SM Salim, Datuk DJ Dave, Datuk Jamal Abdillah, Carefree, Black Dog Bone dan Allahyarham Datuk Sudirman Arshad. – 16 November, 2024
