KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia’s 2026 World Cup/2027 Asian Cup qualifying campaign suffered a huge blow last night after a second successive 2-0 defeat to Oman at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil.

In the game heavily impacted by poor pitch conditions, Oman showed why they are ranked 80th in the FIFA World Rankings by controlling the game and staying composed when under pressure.
