Authorities clear Klebang Aeon for reopening after suspected bomb scare

The mall will resume business at 10am today

IPOH – The Klebang Aeon Mall will resume its business at 10am today after getting clearance from the authorities following a call yesterday about a suspected bomb threat.

The Aeon Co. (M) Bhd management said this through a statement uploaded to its Facebook page last night.

“After the confirmation from the authorities regarding the safety of the premises, Aeon will resume its services. We will operate as usual tomorrow, Thursday at 10am.

“We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and continued support.”

Last evening, the mall was evacuated following a call believed to be that of a bomb threat.

Perak police chief Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said a team was sent to inspect the premises with the assistance of the Fire and Rescue Department. – August 24, 2023
