Low-flying exercise by air force in Putrajaya and Selangor tomorrow onwards

No need to be concerned if the public observes military aircraft flying at low altitudes ahead of the Merdeka celebrations

10:15 PM MYT

KUALA LUMPUR – The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) will be carrying out low-level tactical flight training for the National Day celebration preparations starting tomorrow until August 31.

In a statement today, RMAF announced its role in supervising an event with aerial segments and air displays.

The event will feature aircraft from RMAF and the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF), including fighter jets, transport aircraft, and helicopters of various categories.

Throughout the training, these military aircraft and security forces will perform low-level tactical flights in designated areas, especially within the airspace of Putrajaya and Selangor.

“RMAF would like to reassure the public that there’s no need to be concerned if they observe military aircraft, particularly RMAF and MAF aircraft, as well as other security forces, flying at low altitudes during the exercise period.” – August 26, 2023
