All nations must reject relations with Israel, says Anak Muda Malaysia

Adam Adli also requested for the government to provide humanitarian and medical support to Palestinians

KUALA LUMPUR – The non-governmental organisation Anak Muda Malaysia is requesting for all civilised countries to reject the normalisation of diplomatic relations with Israel due to its ongoing conflict with Palestine.

Representing the organisation, Youth and Sports Deputy Minister Adam Adli said the ongoing inhumane acts by the Zionist regime need to stop, in order to alleviate the suffering and end the further loss of life. 

He urged all the conflicting parties to respect human life, and to protect civilians, specifically women, children, and the elderly.

“We ask the public to be fair and find the real cause of this conflict without quickly pointing fingers at Palestinians who are fighting for their own motherland,” Adam Adli said.

“We ask all civilised countries to reject the normalisation of diplomatic relations with Israel. We also request that the Malaysian government provide humanitarian and medical support to Palestinian citizens. All security councils are urged to act immediately,” Adam Adli said, as he read the statement by Anak Muda Malaysia in Parliament today.

Earlier today, PAS Secretary-General Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan called on the party’s members and supporters to take to the streets in a show of solidarity with the people of Palestine this Friday, at selected mosques across the country.

The solidarity gathering is expected to take place immediately after Friday prayers. – October 9, 2023
