KUALA LUMPUR – Two men have been arrested to assist in the investigation into a 28-year-old male accountant’s death, whose body was found naked at Jalan Kuari, Kg Cheras Baru.

Cheras district police chief Zam Halim Jamaluddin said the two men, aged 25 and 35, who were arrested yesterday at different locations in the Klang Valley, were friends of the victim.

The accountant with a private company was found lying face down and naked by a member of the public around 6am on Monday.

“Both suspects have been remanded until December 18 to assist in the investigation,” Zam Halim said in a statement today.

He added that the autopsy results found the cause of death to be multiple blunt-force trauma in several areas on the victim’s body.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. – December 13, 2023
