KUALA LUMPUR – The KL Convention Centre here is abuzz with excitement during Comic Fiesta 2023 today, attracting a substantial number of visitors and causing significant congestion in the area.

Participants in the fiesta likened the experience to watching a final of a football game.

Comic Fiesta, an eagerly anticipated event for many comic and anime enthusiasts, is taking place over the weekend.

Ardent comic fans have been actively sharing updates about the event on social media, showcasing their enthusiasm by patiently waiting in the long lines to enter KLCC.

However, some people complained about the growing number of attendees resulting in long queues.

Comic fans are not limited to local attendees as visitors from Indonesia and Singapore are also contributing to the vibrant atmosphere at KLCC.

Visitors can opt for Weekend Passes (RM95), All-Day Passes (RM50), or Afternoon Passes (RM30).

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, Comic Fiesta was held in 2019 here, attracting approximately 65,000 attendees.

However, it was postponed for two years due to the pandemic lockdowns. – December 23, 2023
