KUALA LUMPUR – Four bikers, who were in a viral video for their ‘Superman’ stunt along the East Coast Highway (LPT1) that ended in a dramatic crash, pleaded not guilty at the Temerloh sessions court today.

University students Ammar Muizzuddin Abdul Aziz, 19, Wan Muhammad Syahmi Wan Zulkififli, 20, and Mohamad Haiqal Mohd Hanafi, 22, as well as a 15-year-old who is still in school, claimed trial after the charges were read before judge Ahmad Rizki Abdul Jalil.

According to the charge sheet, they are accused of riding recklessly and being a danger to other road users as per Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

The offence took place around 6.30pm on December 24 heading east at KM127 of the LPT1.
