KUALA LUMPUR – Police are searching for two brothers aged 16 and 15 who were reported missing in Taman Bernam Jaya in Hulu Bernam on Monday morning.

Hulu Selangor police chief Ahmad Faizal Tahrim said the teenagers, named Wan Azfar Fitri Wan Azhar and Wan Azfar Zikri, were last seen at their home in Jalan Kemudi, Taman Bernam Jaya after they returned from morning prayers that day.

“They were wearing dark-coloured track pants and (unknown coloured) shirts. The parents realised their disappearance at about 6.30am when they could not find them in the house.

“It is understood the boys left the house without telling their parents after returning from the surau,” he told Bernama tonight.

Faizal said the parents lodged a police report at 9.19am on Tuesday, and added that the boys did not have mobile phones or identification documents on them.

He urged members of the public with any information about the brothers to contact the nearest police station or the teenagers’ parents at 011-33772289 and 011-11335305, or the investigating officer at 013-5547435. – January 4, 2024
