KUALA LUMPUR – All Maybank services and apps are back to normal after service disruptions last Friday.

In a statement, the bank has assured customers and stakeholders of its commitment to upholding the highest standards of customer experience and satisfaction.

“Maybank understands that in today’s digital age, the reliability and security of electronic payment systems are of paramount importance.

“Should customers require any assistance, they may reach out to our customer care via PM (private message) on social media or call 1-300-88-6688.”

The disruptions on April 5 at around 9.20pm caused users to lambast the bank as most were out shopping for Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

To make matters worse, some users ended up “trapped” in various shops, as they were not able to pay for their purchases.

In response, Maybank said today its technical team worked diligently to resolve the issue and restore services as quickly as possible.

“The impacted services were gradually normalised and fully recovered at 11.34pm on the same day.” – April 9, 2024
