Lane closures, traffic diversions in store for Jalan Langat, Klang due to LRT3 construction

Traffic lanes on the busy road will be closed and opened in stages from April 22 to May 7

KUALA LUMPUR – There will be lane closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Langat, Klang (at Aeon Bukit Tinggi traffic light intersections) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from April 22 to May 7.

According to the LRT3 project contractor, Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the closures are from Monday to Sunday, 10pm to 6am.

The road will be closed in following stages:

Stage 1: The left most-lane of Jalan Langat (Klang-bound) and Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 slip road will be closed from April 22-23.

Stage 2: The fast-lane on Jalan Langat (Klang-bound) will be closed from April 23-24.

Stage 3: The fast and middle-lanes on Jalan Langat (Banting-bound) will be closed from April 24-25.

Stage 4: The slow and middle-lanes on Jalan Langat (Banting-bound), slow lane, middle-lane and slip road of Jalan Mahogani, will be closed from April 25-26.

Stage 5: The fast-lane on Jalan Mahogani, (Persiaran Mahogani and Persiaran Batu Nilam-bound) will be closed from April 26-27.

Stage 6: The slip road and slow-lane on Jalan Langat (Banting-bound) and left-most lane of Jalan Mahogani will be closed from April 29-30.

Stage 7: The fast and middle-lanes on Jalan Langat, (Banting-bound) will be closed from May 1-2.

Stage 8: The fast and middle-lanes on Jalan Langat, (Klang-bound) will be closed from May 2-3.

Stage 9: The slow and middle-lanes on Jalan Langat, (Klang-bound) and Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 slip road will be closed from May 3-4.

Stage 10: The fast-lane on Persiaran Batu Nilam 1-both bounds will be closed from May 6-7.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Klang Public Works Department.
