DAP’s Syahredzan has minor surgery for nose-related ailment

Lawmaker will be taking time away from his official duties to recover from the procedure

KUALA LUMPUR – Bangi MP Syahredzan Johan has undergone minor surgery, believed to be for a nose-related ailment.

In an X post today, he said that he had undergone a successful surgery and would need some time away from his official duties to fully recover.

“I just had a minor operation and will be resting for a few days to recover.

“I apologise if I am unable to attend any invitations or reply to messages for now. God willing, I will continue serving #DemiBangi soon,” he said briefly.

Syahredzan also shared a picture of himself lying in a hospital bed with medical gauze taped to his nose.

His post was inundated with well-wishes from netizens hoping for a speedy recovery.

Checks on his previous social media activities revealed that Syahredzan had been active on the ground just a few days prior, attending several Aidilfitri open houses in his constituency. – May 14, 2024
