A handful of netizens also took to social media to share photos of the fallen trees and blocked roads.

User @QaiSuhaimi said personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department have been clearing an uprooted tree near Semenyih Sentral.

In response, Dusun Tua assemblyman Datuk Johan Abd Aziz advised road users to be cautious and residents – especially those in the vicinity of the fallen trees – to be careful when using their electrical appliances.

He added that he will be visiting the affected areas to survey the damage. – July 9, 2024
