KUALA LUMPUR – The public is urged to inform the authorities if they have seen a 14-year-old girl named Lin Yu Cheng who left home following a quarrel with her father in May.

She is 155cm tall, weighs about 42 kg, has light yellowish skin, black hair, a flat nose, black eyes, and thin lips.

She was last seen at her home at Dataran Prima Condominium, Jalan PJU 1/42, here on May 25, at around 3.10pm, said Petaling Jaya district police chief Shahrulnizam Ja’afar Ismail in a statement.

He added that a police report of Lin’s disappearance was lodged yesterday at 3.04pm.

“Public who have any information on her whereabouts are urged to inform the police at their nearest police station or can directly call Petaling Jaya police operations headquarters at 03-79662222,” he said.

He told Scoop, when contacted, that Lin had left the house in May, after having some disagreement with her father.

“The family hasn’t lodged any report on her disappearance then, as they were still able to contact her. The report was lodged yesterday, after they have been unable to reach her since earlier this month.” – August 6, 2024
