Petaling Jaya police chief Shahrulnizam Ja’afar said a report was received from the victim, a woman in her 20s, on August 6, claiming she was sexually harassed twice by a man while at the supermarket.

He also noted that police detected an 18-second video circulating on social media concerning the allegations yesterday at about 2pm.

“A thorough investigation is being conducted under Section 507 A and Section 509 of the Penal Code,” he said in a statement today.
