Vivy and husband give nearly three-hour statement to MACC

The couple completed their statement today regarding Khazanah and PNB’s RM43.9mil investment losses

5:28 PM MYT

KUALA LUMPUR – The co-founders of the e-commerce platform FashionValet Sdn Bhd (FashionValet), Datin Vivy Yusof and her husband, Datuk Fadzarudin Shah Anuar, spent nearly three hours today providing a statement in relation to the RM43.9 million investment losses incurred by Khazanah Nasional Berhad and Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB).

The session concluded at approximately 4.23 pm, after which the couple departed from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters in Putrajaya.

Despite media presence outside since 10 am, the couple did not issue any comments.

Earlier, the pair had returned today to continue the statement recording, following their previous visit, regarding the RM43.9 million investment losses by Khazanah and PNB.

This process is part of the investigation under Section 18 of the MACC Act 2009.

Yesterday, the couple reportedly spent around nine hours at the MACC, from 2.30 pm to 10.30 pm.

A source previously told Scoop that the MACC would continue questioning them regarding documents retrieved from FashionValet’s office.

On Monday, the MACC collected various documents related to FashionValet investments from multiple locations. The simultaneous action reportedly took place at the ministry, Khazanah, PNB, and FashionValet’s Bangsar headquarters.

Confirming the matter, MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said, “We have collected several financial documents following the raids at four premises.” – November 6, 2024
