Sinkhole disrupts traffic on NKVE near Damansara

Emergency and partial left lane closed at KM18.6 southbound for safety, motorists advised to plan their journeys

KUALA LUMPUR – A sinkhole has been reported at KM18.6 southbound on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), between Kota Damansara and Damansara, according to highway operator PLUS Malaysia Berhad.

The incident has led to the closure of the emergency lane and half of the left lane to ensure the safety of road users.

PLUS has urged motorists to stay informed by using the PLUS app or following traffic updates on X via @plustrafik to help plan their travel.

The highway operator thanked drivers for their cooperation and patience and are reminded to exercise caution on the road. – November 12, 2024
