In a statement today, DNB said the innovation lab would focus on driving advancements to improve the quality of experience for real-time communication (RTC) services on Meta’s social media and messaging platforms, leveraging the power of 5G connectivity.

“This proposed collaboration underscores the critical need to deliver seamless, high-quality voice and video connectivity to users, ensuring they have the best possible experience,” it said.

According to DNB, the announcement was made at the Malaysia Pavilion during the Mobile World Congress 2025, in Barcelona, Spain.
