KUALA LUMPUR – Wanita PKR chief Fadhlina Sidek has announced her candidacy for the position of Nibong Tebal PKR division leader in the upcoming party elections.
The Nibong Tebal MP expressed that her decision is driven by gratitude towards party members, the Pakatan Harapan (PH) team, and the people of Nibong Tebal, who have supported her throughout her journey to Parliament.

She also acknowledged the guidance of her seniors, particularly Datuk Mahtar, and the wisdom of “otai reformis” (reformist old-timers) who have been instrumental in shaping her political path.
“My colleagues and I are committing our hearts and energy. Our team, with the strength of diversity and the spirit of the PKR extended family, must embrace every strength we have, leading the charge to strengthen the party through unity in diversity,” Fadhlina, who is also the education minister, said on her official Facebook page.
As such, she is seeking the mandate of the Nibong Tebal division members to allow her the opportunity to lead.
She also thanked the women’s wing of the division for their continued support. Fadhlina is now seeking the mandate of the Nibong Tebal division members to serve as the new division leader.
