KUALA LUMPUR – Berbanding dua adik-beradik lelakinya, Datuk Yusry Abdul Halim dan Edry Abdul Halim, Datuk Norman Abdul Halim dikenali sebagai seorang yang lebih meminati bisnes dan sering mencari peluang perniagaan.

Lebih-lebih lagi dalam memastikan empayar perniagaan KRU terus kekal dan berkembang kepada cabang perniagaan lain, sama ada berkaitan muzik dan filem atau sektor lain.

Terkini, melalui hantaran video di Instagram miliknya, Norman memaklumkan bahawa KRU membuka platform e-dagang mereka, iaitu www.kru2u.com.

Selain menjual jersi bola sepak pelbagai warna dinamakan Malayan Tiger, Norman melakukan lelongan untuk sehelai jaket merah yang pernah dipakainya sewaktu KRU tampil dengan album kompilasi Gergasi pada 2018.

Menerusi video itu, Norman sambil memegang jaket merahnya dengan berlatar belakang artwork album kompilasi Gergasi berkata, ia adalah karya seni terakhir KRU dan digunakan untuk mempromosikan konsert mereka yang terakhir di Istana Budaya pada tahun sama.

“Apa yang istimewa, saya memakai jaket ini dan buat pertama kalinya, kita nak jual secara auction (lelong) di KRU2u.com. Jaket ini ada nilai nostalgianya. Harap-harap anda boleh mendapatkannya dan mulakan proses bidding (membida).

“Proses bidding bermula pada hari ini dan akan kita tamatkan pada 15 September nanti. Jadi kalau berjaya, kita akan buat banyak lagi produk selebriti lain di www.kru2u.com,” katanya.

Dalam pada itu, Norman menyatakan, hanya dalam tempoh beberapa jam, bidaan tertinggi untuk jaket merahnya itu mencecah RM550. – 5 September, 2023
