Women’s road cycling gets one slot at Paris Olympics

Thailand and Vietnam have also been allocated spots in next year’s Summer Games

KUALA LUMPUR – The International Cycling Union (UCI) today awarded a slot for Malaysia in the women’s road cycling event for next year’s Paris Olympics.

Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF) vice-president, Datuk Amarjit Singh Gill, announced this earlier today.

“Big moment for Malaysian #Women Road Cycling,” he added in a post on social media.

At the same time, Thailand and Vietnam are the other Southeast Asian nations that have been allocated slots at next year’s Summer Games.

However, MNCF is yet to announce the athlete who will be representing Malaysia in Paris. – November 16, 2023
