KUALA LUMPUR — Bekas jurulatih bola sepak Kedah Darul Aman, Azraai Khor Abdullah meninggal dunia hari ini akibat strok pada usia 71 tahun.

Beliau dikenali oleh peminat Sang Kenari sebagai individu yang memenangi ‘double treble’ dalam dua musim berturut-turut.

Azraai berjaya membawa Kedah memenangi Piala FA, Liga Super dan Piala Malaysia pada 2006/2007 serta 2007/2008 sekali gus memperkukuhkan dominasi Kedah dalam arena bola sepak ketika itu.

Berita mengenai kematian Azraai dikongsi oleh anaknya, Firdaus Zainuddin, di dalam Facebooknya.

Terdahulu, difahamkan, legenda bola sepak itu telah dikejarkan ke hospital akibat strok.

Allahyarham dikatakan berada dalam keadaan kritikal sebelum disahkan meninggal dunia.

Berita kematian Allahyarham turut dikongsi oleh bekas pemain bola sepak Kedah yang juga Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kepenggunaan dan Kos Sara Hidup, Belia dan Sukan Kedah, Radhi Mat Din.
