Kelantan Darul Naim FC announces resignation of deputy president Datuk Zamri Ismail, CEO Wan Mohd Zul Ikman to focus on other important matters

9:29 PM MYT

KOTA BHARU – Kelantan Darul Naim FC’s (KDNFC) deputy president and chief executive officer (CEO) have resigned from their positions effective today.

The club announced that deputy president Datuk Zamri Ismail and CEO Wan Mohd Zul Ikman handed in their resignations as they wanted to give full attention to other important matters.

“Their resignations were accepted for the good of the club and to preserve its interests as the Malaysia League 2024/2025 season has begun.

“The loss of these two important individuals who have brought many changes, given their full dedication to the club’s development and brought KDNFC to where it is now to remain relevant in the country’s footballing industry since its rebranding in 2019, is a huge loss for Kelantan football, especially to the club and the team,” the club said in a statement today.

KDNFC also thanked both of them for their contributions and sacrifices during their six years with the club, from its time in the M3 League till its promotion to the Malaysian Super League.

“We will never forget what these two great individuals have done for us and we pray that they will always be blessed with health and goodness in everything they do,” the club added. – May 19, 2024
