Malaysia’s TPB4 team claims silver with 3,035 pinfalls at the IBF Para Bowling World Championships

KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysia clinched the silver medal in the men’s team TPB4 (intellectual impairment) event at the 2025 International Bowling Federation (IBF) Para Bowling World Championships in Kowloon, Hong Kong, today.

The team, consisting of Muhd Zul Adly Majeni, Abang Yahya Abang Azhar, Mohd Hazim Sazali, and Mahamad Rizuan Madzhi, delivered an impressive performance, recording a total of 3,035 pinfalls at the Kai Tak Sports Park Bowling Centre.

Australia, represented by Allen Tyler, Ashley Poelstra, Matthew Hurst, and Allan Strong, claimed the gold medal with a score of 3,152 pinfalls.

Singapore’s Eric Foo, Mohamad Rausyan Yaacob, Muhammad Farhan Ismail, and Nixon Fan Jun Jie secured the bronze with 2,972 pinfalls.

The World Championships, which began on 17 January, will conclude on Friday. — January 20, 2025
