KUALA LUMPUR — The 2024-2025 Malaysia Cup final between Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) and Pahang FC has been rescheduled to April 26 at 9 pm at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
The Malaysian Football League (MFL) announced the change today, stating that the final—originally set for April 12—was postponed following an official request from Sri Pahang FC, with JDT also agreeing to the adjustment.
“Based on feedback from both finalists, many fans expressed hope that the Unifi Malaysia Cup final could be moved to a later date to allow better travel planning,” MFL said in a statement.
“The original date coincided with the early days of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, making it difficult for fans to secure tickets.”
MFL added that the new date aims to ease ticketing processes and ensure a well-organised event, allowing more JDT and Sri Pahang FC supporters to attend.
All previously purchased physical and e-tickets, which bear the original date of April 12, will remain valid for entry on April 26.
Following this change, MFL will also revise the remaining Super League fixtures for the season, with an updated schedule to be announced soon. — March 20, 2025
