KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Football League (MFL) have warned Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) and Sri Pahang FC they could face disciplinary action if their fans are linked to a wild brawl before the Malaysia Cup final on Saturday.

Scoop reported that seven men from a 30-strong gang, known as the “All Blacks”, were arrested after chaos erupted at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

The group reportedly stormed the food vendor area at Axiata Arena, taunting supporters from both clubs and trying to start fights.

The violence broke out at around 7.10pm, two hours before kick-off, and quickly escalated into scenes of ‘kung fu-style’ punches and kicks, with cones, flares and bottles hurled across the area.

Seven individuals were arrested following a fight at Bukit Jalil during a live concert and the Madani Carnival. The group, part of a 30-man gang known as the “All Blacks,” provoked football fans ahead of the Malaysia Cup final between Sri Pahang FC and Johor Darul Ta’zim on April 26, around 7pm. Some members were seen wearing JDT scarves and deliberately taunted and pushed fans, escalating the situation into a brawl involving punches, kicks, and thrown objects. Police are investigating their motives and working to ensure the peaceful continuation of the evening’s events. Authorities warned of strict action against those causing disruptions. 📹 Social media pialamalaysia malaysiacup jdt johordarultakzim sripahang pahang bukitjalil stadiumbukitjalil bolasepak sukan beritasukan sukanditiktok sport sports football sportsontiktok beritaterkini beritatiktok newsattiktok trendingnewsmalaysia bolasepak polis pdrm ultras allblacks #boysofstraits BOS

Speaking to Scoop, MFL acting CEO Shazli Shaik said the league were awaiting the outcome of the police probe before taking any action.

“Yes, we are aware that some football fans from both sides who attended the match were involved in the brawl, based on what we have seen in the viral videos and what has been reported in the news.

“We have also been informed of a flare-burning incident that occurred outside the stadium.

“Action could be taken against the clubs, as the fans are indirectly tarnishing the image and reputation of the competition, and this is something we cannot tolerate.

“However, we prefer not to draw any conclusions at this point, as the police are still conducting their thorough investigations,” Shazli said.

Shazli also praised police for their swift response in preventing the violence from spilling over after the match.

“MFL would like to express its gratitude to the police for their swift action in dispersing the fight and successfully preventing such incidents from recurring during and after the match,” he added.

Cheras police chief ACP Aidil Bolhassan said strict action would be taken against anyone involved in the disturbance, with potential charges under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting or Section 160 for affray.

JDT went on to beat Sri Pahang 2-1, lifting the Malaysia Cup in front of 55,552 fans and sealing a historic treble – having already claimed the Super League and FA Cup – for the third straight season. – April 28, 2025
