The Commonwealth Games Federation faces another setback in the hunt for a new host after Singapore decided not to make a bid for the 2026 edition, following Malaysia’s move.
The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) accepts the government's decision to turn down the Commonwealth Games Federation’s (CGF) offer to stage the 2026 Games.
Malaysia’s decision to reject the offer to host the 2026 Commonwealth Games was not influenced by undue external pressure, said Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.
