Datuk Seri Mujahid Yusof Rawa has been appointed the deputy president for Amanah for the party's 2023-2026 session, succeeding the late Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub who passed away in July this year.
This is followed by Shah Alam MP Azli Yusof (755 votes), former religious minister Datuk Seri Mujahid Yusof Rawa (699), Datuk Mahfuz Omar (694), Suhaizan Kaiat (682) and Adly Zahari (643).
The motion, tabled by Kubang Pasu Amanah delegate Asri Bahrom, was approved unanimously at the convention which was attended by nearly 1,000 delegates here.
