Mimos Bhd, the implementation agency for the National Digital Identity or MyDigital ID programme, has been asked to open an information counter during the Madani Government One-Year Anniversary Programme in Bukit Jalil this weekend to rebut negative claims about the digital identity verification system.
Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil said that with 2.7% of areas still needing basic 4G in the country, his ministry is currently researching the matter, especially in relation to satellite technology, which is hoped to be used by 2025.
Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil said the programme, which will be held at the grounds of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, here, will provide direct information to the people on those matters through the booths of the various ministries.
