Although the likelihood of covert operatives – such as those affiliated with Israeli intelligence agency Mossad – operating within Malaysia’s borders is deemed low, security experts believe local authorities should remain vigilant in monitoring potential threats, suspects, and victims.
The Southeast Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism (SEARCTT) managed to organise 116 programmes that benefited 4,886 participants between 2018 and 2023, said Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Mohamad Alamin (Kimanis-BN).
