In a shocking turn of events, the high court here today freed former ESSCom chief of intelligence Datuk Mat Zaki Md Zain, and seven others of murder and conspiracy charges in the murder trial involving e-hailing driver, Nurman Bakaratu, after his ex-wife confessed to killing him.
