Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa will meet with Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming to discuss the proposal for holding local council elections in Kuala Lumpur.
The Local Government Development Ministry has approved financial assistance worth RM2.65 million for the maintenance of 20 non-Islamic houses of worship here.
Its minister Nga Kor Ming said the guidelines, which come into effect this month, are intended to be a guide to the management and operation of campsites for the authorities, entrepreneurs and campsite operators as well as the public.
Deputy Local Government Development Minister Akmal Nasarullah Mohd Nasir said that the project, fully funded by the federal government, was expected to provide comfort to both traders and visitors, further boosting Terengganu’s tourism sector.
Deputy Local Government Development Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir said the nine projects, involving 6,406 units, were completed following the setting up of the sick and abandoned private housing project task force early this year.
